Getting More From Your Growth Data
The Growth Tracker gives you the big picture — but individual calculators can provide deeper insight at each visit:
- Weight-for-Age and Height-for-Age — see exactly where your child falls on the percentile curve for each measurement.
- Growth Velocity Calculator — compare two measurements to check whether the rate of gain is within expected ranges.
- Growth Spurt Timeline Milestone Tracker Growth Charts by Age — enter your baby’s birth date to see when the next growth spurt is expected.
- Height Predictor — estimate your child’s adult height from their current growth curve and parent heights.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the Growth Tracker work?
Create a profile for each child with their name, sex, and date of birth. Then log measurements (weight, height, head circumference) at each visit. The tracker automatically calculates age-appropriate percentiles and plots your child's growth over time on WHO/CDC growth charts.
Is my child's data stored online?
No. All data is stored exclusively in your browser's local storage on your device. Nothing is ever sent to any server. You can export your data as a JSON file for backup and import it on another device.
What growth charts does the tracker use?
The tracker uses WHO growth charts for children under 2 years and CDC growth charts for ages 2 and older, following the American Academy of Pediatrics recommendation. Both chart sources are shown when available. Learn what percentiles mean and why the two chart systems sometimes differ.
Can I track multiple children?
Yes. You can create separate profiles for each child. Each profile maintains its own measurement history and growth charts. Switch between children by clicking on their name in the profiles list.
How often should I log measurements?
Follow your pediatrician's well-child visit schedule. Typically: at birth, 1, 2, 4, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, and 24 months, then annually. More frequent measurements are fine but daily or weekly weighing is not recommended as normal fluctuations can cause unnecessary worry.
